Whether working outdoors or in the studio, I feel at home.

With an infinite amount of subject matter to explore, there is inspiration around every corner. I usually paint landscapes or still life, but I also paint large florals, that often seem like landscapes to me.

On this site you can view my portfolio. The "Landscape", "Still Life" and "Lotus" pages display oil paintings and the "Works On Paper" section shows other mediums. The "Sketchbook" page is a casual collection of thumbnails, watercolors and oil pastels that were executed while traveling. These images often serve as a jumping off point for larger works.

Having taught for over 25 years, I also feel at home in the classroom. The more I teach, the more I learn.
